Hey there!

Welcome to my blog. My name is Alexandra and I’m an elder millennial from Romania, trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle. I’m passionate about animal hoarding, ethical fashion, good podcasts, cinema and dark humour. I’ve recently discovered an enthusiasm for collecting plants, as well as vintage porcelain.1 I’m a firm believer in kindness, fairness, community and doing good for the benefit of all. 2 That being said, you can expect some light reading about sustainability and pets, packed with irony and the occasional random rant.

A few years ago I began slowly migrating from hyper-consumerism to sustainability. Though I’m nowhere near where I’d like to be, I want to talk about the tips and tricks I learned along the way, the struggles I had (and still have), as well as to share my journey with anyone who is interested in low-waste living, ethical fashion, conscious consumerism and sustainability in general.

You might find that my view on sustainability is a little flexible. The intention is to share my own personal perspective of an imperfect sustainable lifestyle, as I am fully aware that living a eco-friendly life is a privilege. There are many who do not have the means to always choose the no-plastic version of things and do not have the means to buy the organic food. That is why, there is no room for judgement on this blog. I will write just as much about zero-waste as I will about vegan products packaged in plastic. Just as much about veganism and non-veganism alike. And just as much about what you can do to be super super sustainable as about the fact that it’s ok if you can’t do it all.

Remember, you cannot do all the good that the world needs, but the world needs all the good that you can do. ♻️
